About Digital Memories
Digital Memories was founded by Bruce Chandler in 2004. The initial genesis involved helping people connect with friends and family through shared experiences, primarily via photographs, video and film. What he found was that there was demand for these types of services.
Many people need videos produced for specific events, i.e., birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, etc. The other thing he found was that there was another subset of customers that, while there time was limited, had the desire to do the work themselves This was done partially to achieve the end result of getting a finished video completed, and partially because they had the desire to learn so they could continue to do more projects, whether for themselves or for friends and family.
The challenge, particularly in the above case, was how to reach out to these two sometimes different customer bases and provide valuable help/information that is relevant. Hence, the Internet. He also noticed a demand for relevant, affordable video production and training from small businesses and non profits.
Today digital memories caters to both individuals and small businesses/non-profits offering compelling video productions as well as video/slide show training for do-it-yourselfers.
Testimonials:
Hi Bruce,
Hope all is well with you and your family. Although this message comes a bit belated, I wanted to extend to you a sincere "Thank You" for all of your work on my folk's DVD for their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
My parents just loved it, and so did my siblings! When we played it at their party - there wasn't a dry eye in the room! Laughter through tears are my favorite emotion!
Thank you again Bruce for helping make this anniversary a very memorable event! I am extremely grateful!
Sincerely,
Darlene and Stan

Bruce-
Thank you very much for digitizing all of our Hi8 video tapes. We all cried over the footage of our daughter being born—we forgot we had taken this film and this is the first time we’d seen it. Awesome.
